Perímetro Sur [Perimeter South] documents the boundary zones toward the southern edge of Metropolitan Lima. The work explores the landscape as a testimony to the apparent social and economic improvement brought by the industrial boom that took place in Peru between 2000 and 2015. The images reveal an imperious human need to delimit the vast desert terrain, where dunes and fog blur the limits and borders of property. The interventions leave traces on the surface and in the depths, revealing a transformation of the littoral that emerges between exploitation and abandonment in the name of modernity.

Perímetro Sur documenta las zonas limítrofes hacia el sur de la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana. La obra explora el paisaje como un testimonio de la aparente mejora social y económica por el boom industrial que se vivió en el Perú entre los años 2000 y 2015. En las imágenes se denota una imperiosa necesidad humana por delimitar el terreno vasto del desierto, que entre las dunas y la neblina difuminan los límites y las fronteras de la propiedad. Las intervenciones dejan rastros en la superficie y en las profundidades, revelando una transformación del litoral que emerge entre explotación y abandono en pro de la modernidad.
